Marquette – The first of a series of three free classes on library online services available through the Peter White Public Library website will be offered on Thursday, February 24 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Graveraet School, Room 117.
Learn how to find books in the online catalog and renew library items from home. Can’t find what you need? Use the advanced search feature or request materials from other Michigan libraries. The Books by Mail program, designed for people with limited mobility, will also be featured. Bring your library card to class for extra practice with the website.
Register by calling the Marquette Community Schools at 225-4210. Classes will be taught by Fran Darling, Technology Integration Supervisor at the Marquette Area Public Schools.
Other classes in the series are Downloadable Audio Books and E-Books, scheduled for March 3, and Michigan Electronic Library on March 10.
All three classes are co-sponsored by Marquette Area Public Schools and the Peter White Public Library.
