Marquette – The Marquette General Hospital Volunteers will sponsor a Denim and Diamonds Dance on Saturday, February 26 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Holiday Inn in Marquette.
Guests are encouraged to wear jeans, denim, cowboy boots and hats, and flashy jewelry. There will be live music by Black Pearl and country line dancing with instruction. Western-style snacks and a cash bar will be available. A diamond necklace will be raffled off at 10 p.m. Raffle tickets cost $5 each. A variety of silent auction items will also be offered.
Tickets cost $20 per person and are available at the MGH Volunteers Office, the MGH Gift Shop, and the Upper Peninsula Medical Center, Suite 238. Tickets will also be sold at the door. All proceeds will benefit Beacon House.
