Marquette – A Peace Love Spaghetti Benefit for Carol Ansell will be held on Saturday, February 26 at 3 p.m. at the American Legion, 700 Bluff Street, Marquette.
Tickets cost $10 for adults, $7 for children and $30 for a family of four. The meal includes gourmet spaghetti, salad, bread, soft drink and dessert. All ticket holders are eligible for a raffle drawing. Bobby Glenn Brown will serve as emcee, and there will be music by Log Jam, a silent auction, and dance music provided by a disc jockey.
Ansell was diagnosed in September with stage 3 colon cancer. Proceeds from this event will go toward travel and other expenses related to her treatment at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
