Negaunee – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter will offer a “Wash ‘n Wag” Fundraiser and Adopt-a-thon on Saturday, July 16 from noon until 4 p.m. at the shelter on Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township.
Let UPAWS staff and volunteers wash your dirty dog for only $10. Professional groomers will be on hand to give your dog that special beauty treatment for only $10 more. Free doggie bandanas will be give to each freshly cleaned pooch.
Free goody bags will be given with all adoptions, which also include vaccines, spay or neuter, Dr. Tim’s All Natural Pet Food, and much more. Spin the wheel to receive 10 to 50 percent on your pet adoption fee or win a free adoption.
