Ishpeming – Speed the Light Rock-N-Run will be held on Friday, August 4 beginning with registration at 5:30 p.m. at the NORTHIRON Church parking lot on US 41 in Ishpeming. The race begins at 7 p.m.
This is a family friendly event for all ages. The race starts from the parking lot in a party zone. Along the route there will be more party zones with music pumping from a different decade going back to the 50s. Once you make it to the aid station you can pick up some water and head back to the future! The finish will be one big
party with a light show and music.
This is a fundraiser geared toward raising money for Speed the Light, a missions organization that provides vehicles to get children out of the sex trade and drilling wells for fresh water in 3rd world countries among many other things.
