MAKING MOVIES IN MARQUETTE COUNTY

Beau Chaput stopped in at the Sunny Studios today to join Mark and Walt in the Morning and talk about the short film “Ice Brigade” that he is directing and producing. The film is the story of a massive snow fortress built in Gwinn by a group of neighborhood kids and how they defend it from being overtaken by a rival group of kids who are intent on claiming it as their own.

The film is featuring area kids as the actors and extras and Beau talked about casting calls going on this weekend in Marquette and in Gwinn to fill out the on-screen roster. He described the film as an over-the-top comedy that should appeal to people of all ages, and should really connect with anyone who has ever been in a childhood snowball battle.

You can find out more about the film and the casting calls by listening to the interview with Beau by clicking below.
