Marquette – In honor of the 150th anniversary of Russian playwright, Anton Chekhov’s birth, the CineArts Film Series will present the film “Uncle Vanya” on Friday, November 19 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Chekhov’s famous play of a fading 19th century Russian family is brought to stunning life in this rarely seen 1970 film adaptation.
