Rick Snyder, Republican candidate for Governor joined us today on the morning show to chat about his campaign and the main messages contained therein. Snyder, who is currently the front runner in the race with just about a month to go, discussed points of his platform outlining plans to get business moving in Michigan again. He discussed his plan for a new budgeting system for the state as well as a new taxation structure. Snyder also outlined his vision for the role of the Upper Michigan in his plans for the entire state. His main points featured the creation of a business-friendly environment in the state featuring and supporting small Michigan businesses that embrace all aspects of Michigan from manufacturing and mining to high-tech industries to tourism.
