Marquette – “Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick?” the award-winning documentary series broadcast by PBS will be screened on Wednesday, May 19 at 6 p.m. at the Marquette Commons, and on Thursday, May 20 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library. Food will be served at each screening.
“Unnatural Causes” sounds the alarm about the socioeconomic and racial inequities in health, and searches for the causes – and those causes are not what we might expect. The Medical Care Access Coalition, in partnership with the Marquette County Health Department, is bringing this series to Marquette to open a community dialog on this inequity and what our community can do to help,
