Calendar – Education – Blacksmith Presentation Registration Deadline – May 17

Marquette – Blacksmith Bud Williams will present a short history and overview of modern blacksmithing on Wednesday, 19 at 1 p.m. with participants meeting at the Berry Events Center east parking lot at 12:30 p.m. to car pool to Williams’ home.

Williams will demonstrate the skills and tools a blacksmith would use in the building of a house or community before the modern convenience of the hardware store.

Cost is $4 for Northern Center for Lifelong Learning members, $7 for others. Register by Monday, May 17 by calling Cliff Stammer at 228-9897.
