Calendar – Education – Sandstone Architecture of the Great Lakes Region – April 29

Marquette – “Sandstone Architecture of the Great Lakes Region” will be presented on Thursday, April 29 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Library in Marquette.

Kathryn Bishop Eckert will speak about the unique sandstone churches, courthouses, public buildings and homes built from sandstone quarried in this region, including the Longyear Mansion, Marquette County Courthouse, St. Peter Cathedral and many more.
