Negaunee – The Marquette County Humane Society will join thousands of animal welfare organizations worldwide in hosting Pet Adopt-a-thon 2010 on Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2 from noon to 4 p.m. at the shelter, 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township.
Those who bring in an item from the MCHS wish list will receive a 25 percent adoption fee discount for any shelter pet. Staff and volunteers will help adopters find the pet best suited to their lifestyle.
