Marquette – Strut Your Mutt, the annual benefit walk for the Marquette County Humane Society, will be held on Saturday, September 12 beginning with registration at 9:30 a.m. at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette.
Participants may walk a 1.5 or a 3-mile route.
Early bird registration is $15 adults, $5 for youths. The early registration deadline is September 1. After September 1 the cost is $20 or $10, respectively.
Early registrants will be entered a drawing to have their dog selected as the official “Leader of the Pack” to lead the start of the walk. The drawing will be held on event day.
All proceeds go toward helping the humane society find loving homes for pets in need. For more information, call 475-6661.
