Munising – The Munising Community Bread Oven will be dedicated in honor of Elma LaFlamme and Jean LaFlamme Carberry on Saturday, August 29 at 11 a.m.
Special ceramic photo plaques of the honorees will be added to the oven. There will be a picnic for family and friends of the women after the dedication.
The oven has been used to raise money for the Eric D. Beverly Foundation, lighting for the Bayshore Park Pavilion, the Munising High School Student Council scholarship, and the Out of the Darkness suicide prevention organization.
