Big Bay – The Liberty Children's Art Project camp will be offered Monday through Friday, August 10 through 14 at the Powell Township School Outdoor Studio, 101 Duestch Street in Big Bay.
A 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. session for kindergarten through fifth grade will feature drawing and painting on a collaborative mural titled “Summer on the Beach.”
A clay workshop will be offered from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for sixth-graders and older. Students will learn to throw pots on a potter's wheel, create sculptures and hand build large pots.
Classes are free for Powell Township children, and $15 per week or $3 per day for others.
