Marquette – Sparky and Rhonda Rucker will perform a concert on Monday, September 28 at 7 p.m. at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to help fund future library programs.
Songs of the American tradition are featured on guitar, banjo, harmonica and spoons accompanied by piano, harmonica and vocal harmonies. The performance will include old time blues, Appalachian music, slave songs, Civil War music, spirituals, work songs, ballads, Civil Rights music and their own original compositions.
