Ishpeming – In celebration of its seventh year of operation, the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum will host a Family Day on Saturday, August 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 501 W. Euclid Street in Ishpeming.
Admission will be $3 for adults, free for age 18 and younger.
The museum offers information on the history of mining on the Marquette Iron Range, a tour of the tunnels miners walked through, a 170-ton iron ore truck and a 30-ton iron ore bucket.
