All good things must come to an end as did the Police Cadets winning streak when they lost to Taco Bell by a score of 8-6 on May 30, 2008 in Marquette, Michigan.
Head Coach Randy Larson's game summary:Taco Bell exacted revenge against the Police Cadets winning 8-6 in the second matchup between these two teams. PC Scored first in the top of the 2nd but Taco Bell answered in the bottom scoring 4 runs on 5 walks, one hit and one error. PC countered with 2 in the 3rd, 2 in the fifth and 1 in the sixth. Taco Bell plated 4 more in the 5th to take the lead. The game was called due to time and Taco Bell held on through the top half of the 6th inning for the victory. Leading the way for PC were Garrett Pentecost, who scored twice, Austin Riipi with 2 RBIs and 2 hits. Also scoring were Spencer Larson, Riipi, Drew Van Drese and Dylan Taylor. The other RBIs were by Trevor Havican, Theo Sanyal, Taylor, and Brandon Jarvinen. Spencer Larson and Patrick Lynch pitched for PC with Lynch absorbing the loss while Ricky Kurian started for TB and gets the win and Alex Palmer gets the save. More – External Link
