The Northern Michigan University Wildcats womens soccer team scored very early and then hung on for a 1-0 win over the visiting University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs behind the Superior Dome in Marquette, Michigan on Friday, September 12, 2008.
The Wildcat's aggressive style of play was matched by the visiting UMD Bulldogs in a bump and run style that saw quick passing and brilliant defense.
