Ishpeming – The 5oth Anniversary Kick-off of the 1958 publication of Robert Traver's “Anatomy of a Murder” will take place on Thursday, September 18 at 7 p.m. at the Carnegie Public Library in Ishpeming.
Traver was the pen name of Marquette County attorney, prosecutor and Michigan Supreme Court Justice, John D. Voelker.
The event will include the unveiling of the Voelker Collection web exhibit by the Central Upper Peninsula and Northern Michigan University Archives about the writing of the book.
Activities will include refreshments at the library and a self-guided walking tour of Voelker sites in Ishpeming.
