I took a trip to Camp Aho at Stella Lake off of the Rapid River Truck Trail recently and took several photos of our journey.
We had to prepare the camp for winter by bringing in the dock, situating the outdoor furniture in such a way as to not get destroyed by the heavy snowfall. Bring in the personal watercraft and shingle the sauna! James Lahti led the construction project with many years of know-how as he has been in the business for 35+ years.
A camp without a sauna in the U.P. is like a Floridian without air conditioning! It just ain't gonnna happen…
