The West Iron County Wykons were looking to advance in the MHSAA high school football playoffs but the Saint Francis Gladiators were determined to stop them and they did just that at the Superior Dome in Marquette on November 14, 2008.
The Wykons committed too many errors and turnovers early in the game. The Gladiators made them pay for it by scoring on most of those turnovers.
