The Marquette Redmen hockey team got off to a good start with a preseason win over the Hancock Bulldogs in Hancock.
The Redmen jumped out to an early lead in the first period. The Redmen scored again in the second period. The Hancock Bulldogs came within a goal midway through the third period until Marquette scored on an empty netter in the last minute of regulation.
Both teams goalies played great between the pipes.
