Community Foundation of Marquette County to Host Annual Celebration, including Catalyst
Awards Presentations, on September 3, 2025
MARQUETTE, MI – The Community Foundation of Marquette County (CFMC) will host its 2025
Annual Celebration on Wednesday, September 3. The theme of this year’s event is, “Community
First”. This event is a celebration of the collective impact we’ve made in our communities, offering a
meaningful opportunity to honor the individuals, businesses, and organizations whose
contributions continue to strengthen and empower Marquette County communities.
WHERE: Northern Michigan University, Northern Center Grand Ballrooms, 1401 Presque Isle
Avenue, Marquette, MI.
WHEN: Wednesday, September 3, 2025, 5:00 – 8:00 pm
5:00 – Guest Registration and Social Hour
6:00 – Annual Meeting and Dinner
7:30 – Catalyst Awards Presentation
WHY: “This event is more than a celebration—it’s a heartfelt thank you,” said Zosia Eppensteiner,
CEO of the Community Foundation of Marquette County. “We’re gathering to celebrate the remarkable generosity of individuals who give selflessly to uplift others. Their commitment to putting ‘Community First’, is what makes lasting, meaningful change possible.” Guests will enjoy an evening of inspiration, connection, and gratitude, featuring stories from community partners, highlights of countywide initiatives, and experience a shared celebration of impact, driven by a common purpose. “So many individuals and organizations work tirelessly to make a real difference in the lives of people and organizations in each community across Marquette County.”

to join us in celebrating the spirit of giving and the impact it creates. The Community Foundation’s 2025 Catalyst Award Honorees will be announced at the event. The Catalyst Award recognizes the efforts of people who give back to the community through volunteerism or philanthropy while inspiring others to do the same.
