(Negaunee, MI) – The Michigan State Police (MSP) and Fox Negaunee U.P. dealership needs your help making a difference in their community!
Fox Negaunee is hosting Stuff the Police Car- a food and necessities guide for Negaunee St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. There is an MSP cruiser in the showroom which staff hopes to fill with things like nonperishable food items and toiletries. If you donate a bag of food or wish list items, you will receive 10% off service that day. These food pantries can typically use an extra boost after the holiday rush.
“Even though the holidays have been over for a couple weeks, there is still a need out there for people,” said Fox Negaunee Sales Consultant Jerry Taylor. “Everyday items like pancake mixes, cake mixes, toiletries– that need is still there. For us to partner with the state police to try and make this happen was just an easy thing for us to say yes to.”
Fox Negaunee will be accepting donations until February 1, 2025. Trying to figure out what to donate? Fox Negaunee is looking for things like:
- Toilet Paper, Paper Towel
- Laundry Soap, Hand soap, Shampoo & Conditioner
- Jam/Jelly
- Peanut Butter
- Juice
- Cake Mixes & Pancake Mix/Syrup
- Pasta Sauce
- Soups/Stews
- Canned Meats
- Powdered Milk
- Coffee/Tea
- Granola Bars
- And anything similar to these items!
St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry appreciates anyone who donates! It is truly needed around this time of year. Lets fill that police car!!!
