Connect Marquette Hosts Annual Puppy Photo Paw-ty at Al Quaal Recreation Area
A Fun Fall Event Benefiting Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Center
Marquette, MI – September 28, 2024 – Connect Marquette is excited to announce its annual Puppy Photo Paw-ty, returning to Al Quaal Recreation Area on Saturday, September 28th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This year, fur babies take center stage with a fun-filled afternoon dedicated to capturing heartwarming moments of your dogs, all while supporting a great cause.
Three local photographers—Lauren Bareiss, Adam Rifenburgh, and Kim Aisthorpe—will be offering 15-minute photo sessions for pet owners to get high-quality, professional pictures of their beloved pups. Set against the stunning backdrop of fall colors at Al Quaal, this event is perfect for pet lovers looking to capture their furry friends’ personalities.
The event, which has only 21 time slots available, will benefit the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Center (UPAWC). A $10 donation per time slot is required, with all proceeds going directly to UPAWC to help provide essential care for animals in need. Registration for the event will close on Friday, September 27th, at 9:00 PM or as soon as time slots fill up.
“We’re thrilled to bring back this popular event,” says a spokesperson from Connect Marquette. “It’s a wonderful way to enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon, support a local cause, and get some adorable photos of our pets.”
