Houghton – The Copper Country United Way will be kicking off its $150,000, 2008-09 annual campaign on Tuesday, September 16 at 5 p.m. with it's Sixth Annual Chili Challenge at the Michigan Tech Memorial Union Building.
A $2 donation will be asked for the event.
The Chili Challenge will expose area residents to all the good work being done by the 15 local agencies assisted by the CCUW and showcase some of the region's best chili and soup from nine local eateries.
