The City of Marquette Office of Arts & Culture invites citizens to nominate deserving members of the community for the 2024 Annual Art Awards. These awards recognize and thank individuals and organizations who have demonstrated artistic excellence or made significant contributions to the arts in Marquette.
Now in its 27th year, the Annual Art Awards provide a platform to honor those who have significantly contributed to Marquette’s vibrant local culture. Citizens are encouraged to nominate deserving community members across various categories, ensuring a diverse representation of artistic talent and advocacy.
Nominations are being accepted for the following categories: Arts Volunteer, Arts Advocate, Arts Educator, Youth Award, Visual Artist, Performing Artist, Writer, Arts Innovation, Special Recognition, Arts Organization, and Arts Business. Nominations are due by Wednesday, July 31st. This is a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and thank those who have positively impacted the quality and appreciation of the arts within Marquette.

Award recipients will be honored at a special ceremony and reception in October 2024. This event will be a highlight of the year, bringing together the community to celebrate the outstanding achievements of local artists and arts supporters. More details about the ceremony will be announced at a later date.
