The first GUTS Frisbee National tournament was held in Marquette, MI in 1976. This return of the tournament is an extension of the legacy. Patrons and players alike both intend to continue this legacy. There was even a kids team banded together. They hope to play in the tournament next year.
The history of GUTS in the U.P. is rich, and from the public’s response, we expect to see an increase in interest of the sport and its return to the mainstream in Marquette.
