Tom Belt, City of Marquette Fire Chief – Caught Being Safe Campaign

Starting Monday, July 16, St. Mary&#39s Michigan Field Neurosciences Institute in partnership with McDonalds Restaurants and the Marquette City Fire Department will be conducting a “Caught Being Safe” Campaign. Marquette Fire Department personnel will randomly issue coupons for ice cream cones or apple dippers to any child observed wearing a helmet while riding a bike, scooter, skateboard or rollerblades. The mission of this campaign is to encourage children to wear helmets and make safe choices. For more information, call the Marquette City Fire Department at 228-0410.
