Michigamme – Presbytery Point Camp Inc. will host an open house on Saturday, May 30 from 1 to 9 p.m. at the camp, located 2 miles east of Michigamme on U.S. 41 at the end of Brown Road.
Guests are invited to a day of play on the waterfront and games and relaxation on the camp grounds. Tours will showcase cabins and the dining/kitchen multi-use building under construction.
There will be a potluck dinner at 5 p.m. in the lodge (handicapped accessible). The open house will conclude with evening worship and a campfire.
Youth and “One Big Family””camps are offered throughout the summer, with adult camps offered year round. Presbytery teaches the value of relationships with God, fellow campers and the world.
Camp fees include meals, snacks, amenities and 24-hour youth care. In keeping with the camp mission of stewardship, the camp manager assists with ride sharing from distant areas.
