Marquette County Health Department has confirmed Marquette County’s first positive COVID-19 case March 24, 2020

The Marquette County Health Department has confirmed Marquette County’s first positive COVID-19 case.  The department became aware of the case earlier today after it was identified through commercial laboratory testing.  The person is an adult male with a history of recent domestic travel through international airports. He has been in home isolation in accordance with current guidelines.  The health department is notifying people who have been identified as close contacts. They will be assessed for symptoms and monitored properly. The department is not releasing any additional information about the individual.
