The Marquette County Board has declared a local state of emergency for Marquette County March 17, 2020

The Marquette County Board has declared a local state of emergency for Marquette County as part of the effort to curb the coronavirus.  The action was taken last night by the Board to open cities and townships in the county to possible federal and state funding.  The Board says the declaration was a precautionary step to allow municipalities to seek money that can be used for equipment and supplies as needed.
