A South Dakota man convicted of killing his girlfriend and bringing her dismembered body to the U.P. has been sentenced to life in prison.  Steven Falkenberg of Yankton, South Dakota, was sentenced yesterday with no chance of parole.  Falkenberg had been convicted of first-degree manslaughter and second-degree murder in the death of Tamara LaFramboise.  Investigators say Falkenberg killed the woman in Yankton and then drove to Menominee County, where he grew up and dumped the woman’s body in the Little River in Menominee Township.  It was found last March 16th.
