Calumet, MI – We kick off the popular summer-long Musical Monday Series at the Calumet Theatre with a Copper Country favorite on Monday, June 17th at 7:30 pm.
Keweenaw Brewgrass play an eclectic mix of “anything rhythmic” on acoustic instruments. The band leans toward bluegrass for the rhythms and harmonies, but also dabble in Texas swing and rock classics done acoustically. Band members include Bogue Sandberg – 8-string dobro, Craig Kurtz – 5-string banjo/vocal, Doug Oppliger – guitar/vocals, Jim Hertel – Doghouse Bass (upright bass)/vocals, Kora Melia Johnson – Fiddle, and Marshall Weathersby – Mandolin/guitar/vocals. This show promises to be a fun kickoff to your Summer!
