Marquette, MI – Vendor applications for the 2019 season of the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market are now being accepted. The 20th season of the Saturday Summer Market opens Saturday, May 25 and runs every Saturday through October 26 at the Marquette Commons, 112 S. Third St. in Downtown Marquette. The hours of the market are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. New this year is the addition of a Wednesday Evening Market, which will run from June 12 through September 25, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The Late Fall Market will operate again this year on Saturdays from November 2 to December 14, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm inside at the Marquette Commons.

The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market is operated and sponsored by the Marquette Downtown Development Authority (MDDA). The MDDA Board of Directors has committed $13,000 to the 2019 operations of the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market. Fees have been adjusted to offset market deficits above this level.

priory placement and scheduling at the market. Applications are available at www.mqtfarmersmarket.com or can be picked up from the Marquette Downtown Development Authority office at 337 W. Washington St, Marquette, MI 49855.

The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market attracted more than
2,000 weekly visitors throughout the 2018 season, with $1,500,000 in estimated sales. Seasonally, more than 100 vendors participate in the market, selling fresh Michigan grown produce and farm produced goods, baked goods, and various artisan wares.
