The Fred Waara Chapter of Trout Unlimited invites membership and the public to its 19th annual Conservation Banquet and raffle at the NMU University Center on Friday, April 21 at 6 p.m. Come enjoy a fine meal, a variety of unique silent auction items, door prizes and great raffle prizes like a $500 Gander Mt. shopping spree, a Ruger bolt-action rifle in .270 with stainless barrel and laminated stock, a Powell fly rod, three $100 cash prizes, an Appleton shopping and lodging package, and much more. This is the chapter's sole fundraising event which helps finance stream restoration projects and education projects like Salmon in the Classroom.
