The Anti-Freeze Blues Festival, featuring three bands will be held on Friday, April 7 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at The Calumet Theatre. The Frostbite Blues Band featuring sax, two guitars, bass and drums, bring a little bit of Chicago with a touch of Motown. The Flatbroke Blues Band from Marquette has a recently released cd. Houghton residents, Gail English and the Swingcats, play a cabaret style show of jazzy blues and standards.
