A MARQUETTE COUNTY CONNECTION TO THE TURMOIL IN EGYPT

Mohey Mowafy, a professor at Northern Michigan University and a resident of Marquette, joined Mark and Walt recently to discuss the situation in Egypt with the masses in revolution calling for the removal of President Hosni Mubarek. He shared his personal experiences with dealing with the loss of contact with his family and friends in Egypt when the government shut down the internet access and telephone systems as the dispute heated up. He was unable to speak to his loved ones for over a week.
