Ontonagon, MI – Come to the Porkies for our 12th Annual Music Festival, with two stages, bands all weekend, a children’s tent and activities, and a hot food concession.
The festival will take place, under a big top canopy, rain or shine so bring an umbrella or poncho just in case. The average temperature in the area at this time of year is a high of 76 F and a low of 64 F, so dress for warm weather but bring a sweatshirt for the evening. The Porcupine Mountains Music Festival will be held at the Winter Sports Complex located within Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. Temporary, canopy covered stages will be set up at the base of the hill and several acres of open slope will be mowed and ready for your blankets and lawn chairs. Attendance is limited therefore a bad seat will not be found. Workshops will be conducted upon the event grounds and also inside the 20,000 square foot ski chalet. The restaurant located inside the ski chalet will offer a varied menu and will be open throughout the event. Absolutely no pets allowed – assistance/service dogs welcome.
