Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s Lake Effect Show Choir will “sing and dance up a storm” at its upcoming weather-themed show, on Wednesday, April 23 and Thursday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. each evening in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at NMU.
Hot and cold beverages, warm appetizers and chilled desserts will be served at the concert. The full ensemble and featured soloists will perform “Here Comes the Sun,””Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In,” “Singin’ In the Rain,” “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” “Let It Snow,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “Baby It’s Cold Outside” and select songs from the newest Disney movie, “Frozen.”
Tickets are $15 and on sale through Monday, April 21, at Forsberg Flowers of Marquette or through the NMU music department at 227-2563. Lake Effect is directed by NMU professor Sharon Green.
