Marquette – Danielle Simandl, the Marquette Symphony Orchestra Winner of the 2014 Youth Concerto Competition for Strings, will perform on Saturday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. in Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette.
She will perform Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 2. The Marquette Symphony will also perform Mendelssohn’s Italian Symphony No. 4 and Manuel de Falla’s Ritual Fire Dance.
Tickets are $17 to $32 for adults, $12 for students and $9 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at Northern Michigan University EZ Ticket Outlets, online at www.nmu.edu/tickets or by callng 227-1032. EZ Ticket sales are available until noon Friday, February 28. Tickets can be purchased at Kaufman Auditorium beginning at 6:30 p.m. the night of the concert.
