Marquette, MI – December 9, 2018 – Many people can mentally picture a few Salvation Army brass musicians bundled up and playing carols outside at Christmas time. It is, however, rare to actually see such a group. Well here’s your chance to experience something similar, and in a more comfortable environment.
Sammy Nestico expanded on the classic idea to create lush carol arrangements for slightly larger brass groups. On Sunday afternoon, December 16, ten local brass players will be playing those arrangements for the enjoyment of the community.
The concert will be inside at the Marquette Commons, 112 South Third St, Marquette, on December 16 at 4:00 PM. It is open to the public and free. We hope to see you there.
