11th Annual Geocaching Event – September 9

Copper Harbor, MI – Come to Fort Wilkins for our 11th Annual Geocaching Event! Geocaching is a treasure hunt using GPS units (not provided) to find hidden treasure in and around the fort as well as interesting, beautiful or historical locations in the nearby area. Join park staff and campground host for this fun geocaching event along with a picnic lunch and stories around the campfire! This event is free with your Michigan State Parks Recreation Passport and the public is welcome. A Michigan State Parks Recreation Passport is required for entry into Fort Wilkins Historic State Park. If you do not have a Recreation Passport, one can be purchased at the park.
