John Dau, one of the Sudanense “Lost Boys” who fled their war-torn country and eventually resettled in the United States, will speak about human rights and the Darfur tragedy at Northern Michigan University. His presentation will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, in the Great Lakes Rooms of the Univeristy Center. The speech is free for NMU students with an ID or $2 for the public. The event is sponsored by Platform Personalities and the Student Activity Fee.
