The DeVos Art Museum at Northern Michigan University will present a new exhibit titled “Blast from the Past: Art of the 1960's” from mid-January to February 27. Featured artists include Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Motherwell, Elaine and Willem de Keooning, Alex Katz and Jasper Johns, among others. More than 50 paintings and works on paper from the permanent collection of the Kresge Art Museum at Michigan State University will comprise the exhibit. A public reception will be held on Friday, January 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. For more information, call 227-1481. Musuem hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 1 to 5 p.m. on weekends.
