The film, “One More Dead Fish” will be shown on Tuesday, December 19 at 7 p.m. in the Peter White Public Library's Community Room. This film gets to the heart of a community's fight against globalization. Six Nova Scotia fishermen seize a federal building and barricade themselves inside in a desperate fight to save their small community. A discussion will follow the film. There is no admission charge and the film is part of the “Global Issues/Human Geographies Film Series” co-sponsored by Northern Michigan University's Geography Department and the Peter White Public Library.
