Marquette – The Laughing Whitefish Audubon Society will sponsor a program on Black-backed Woodpeckers on Wednesday, April 8 at 7 p.m. at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Joe Youngman will show photographs and give firsthand accounts from his study of the high numbers of Black-backed Woodpeckers nesting on the Baraga Plains after a recent forest fire.
