The American Legion Auxiliary #114 of Ishpeming is hosting a Relay for Life cancer fundraiser with an American Legion Idol Talent Contest on Sunday, June 3 at 2 p.m. at the Post in Greenwood, five miles west of Ishpeming, just off U.S. 41. Particpants will sing two songs from the Karaoke books and will be judged on talent, appearance, stage presence, and originality. The contest is open to all ages. There is a $10 fee for those entering the contest and a $2 cover charge for others. Proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. For more information, call 486-4074.
