Amasa Heritage Day, sponsored by the Amasa Historical Society and Museum, will hold a flag-raising ceremony on Monday, May 28 at 11:45 a.m. as part of their 10th anniversary celebration. Smokey the Bear will pay a visit at noon with meteorologist Karl Bohnak, speaking at 1 p.m. There will be an afternoon visit with Rep. Bart Stupak. Free tours of the museum, the Old Town Hall built in 1894, will be available all afternoon. Kids' games, a raffle drawing, crafters, food, and more will be part of the festivities.
